Kevin Main, BSEE
I took the Foundation's Basic Workshop: The Way of the Shaman® with Charles Conatser. Over time, as I began to understand clearly that shamanic practice was to be an integral center of my life, I pursued advanced training with the FSS, including the Two-Week Shamanic Healing Intensive and the Three-Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing.
I have had an active shamanic healing practice since 2014, and I facilitate monthly drumming circles in north Texas. I work professionally as an electrical and computer engineer, and I love reading and writing; drawing, painting, sewing, and crafting all sorts of things that bring joy to others; and playing several musical instruments. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, and I have studied physics, mathematics, philosophy, and comparative religion.
I have many years of experience teaching and facilitating spiritual and contemplative practices. I believe that core shamanism can evoke great change in the world by bringing healing, wholeness, and power to those with open hearts and a willingness to sincerely explore these practices. These methods, and the possibilities offered by direct, personal partnerships with compassionate, powerful spirits, are intrinsic to the human experience and accessible to anyone.
