Scott Williams, MA
As an adult, I continued my spiritual search even as I took on the responsibilities of marriage, child raising, and career. I was studying Native American spirituality and pursuing my interest in primitive skills, when I took a drum building workshop with Tom Bickford in 1992. Tom introduced me to the work of Michael Harner and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.
During this time, I also pursued my academic interests, culminating with an MA in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut.
For me personally, I consider the value of Core Shamanism to be the effects — transformational, enhancing, and enriching — it has had on my life. Teaching Core Shamanism is something that I have been drawn to for a number of years; it affords me the opportunity to bring these same life changing effects to others.
I currently maintain a shamanic healing practice in my home town of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
